Thursday night was 'The Girls Night Out'. As you can surmise, a bunch of 'girls' that graduated from high school several decades ago met at a local hang-out to grab a bite to eat and swap old stories.   Well, as luck would have it, only six of them girls showed up.  (And that is counting Bill Irr.... please don't ask for details!) To make a long story short, I got a call and was asked if I wanted to come on up and 'hang out'. Whoa!

Why this never happened to me in high school I'll never know.  There I was with five interesting, attractive, funny women... and Bill Irr. We were drinking beers, laughing, and having a great time; at least I was. Of course I was sworn to secrecy according to something like the Ya-Ya Sisterhood or some such thing. They had a ceremony with candles and spooky music where I was 'inducted'. (The blindfolding was one of my favorite parts....)  So, the bottom line is that I cannot break the code of the sisterhood and tell you of the stories that were shared.  Nor can I share any of the absolutely hilarious adventures that 'my sisters' have enjoyed over the years. But at least now I know who kissed who when and where... the where being someone's house, porch, or the Town Park. Unfortunately I also know more than I wanted to about who the 'hot guys' were 30 years ago.

While I cannot imagine that you will have as much fun as I did, each of you should make an effort to get to any class activities that you can. You'll have a great time! The next Girls Night Out is coming up on Thursday, May 20th 6pm @ Brennan's. If you're a girl, make it a point to be there. I know that I will!
