So much for competing with other online news networks. Our last "breaking news" was a mere 17 monts ago.
I guess not much has been happening in the world over the last year and a half.
March 11th, 2008 was the 200th birthday for the Town of Clarence. Originally, Clarence stretched all the way to Lake Erie,
and was part of Niagra County because there was no Erie County. (...see, some one paid attention in 7th grade) With
this being the Bicentennial for the Town, you can imagine that there are a lot of things going on. Here are a few links:
Our sister city of BugTussel, Alabama, is having a pig roast, a stock car race, and a bass fishin contest to
celebrate this milestome. The mayor (Hon Rufas Cornweather) is planning to attend the Clarence Center
Labor Day Fair if he can convice his cousin (Clem) to answer the town phone while he's gone. This could be exciting. Stay tuned.

We're back on the web. After a few weeks down due to technical problems we're really glad to be back in action. With Thanksgiving Day just arounf the corner I've been getting calls and email from many of you wondering if there is anything planned for Thanksgiving. I heard a rumor that the Bailey's are having an open house on Thursday... however Budd strongly denied that rumor.
Wednesday before Turkey Day and Friday after are allways busy nights at Brennans with a large collection of Clarence1973 alumni in attendance. While nothing is offically planned, we hope to see many of you there.
