October Snow - 2006 |
|   |
Around 8:30 the snow had stopped for good and the skies started to clear.
Between the fallen trees and down power lines, my neighbor, Lloyd, started on the job of clearing away the heavy snow.
I remained at a safe distance while Julie tried to revive one of our "once mighty" birch trees.
A tree surgeon, with her delicate instruments, even Julie could not salvage the tree that had snapped in half from the weight of the heavy snow..
